BROWNSVILLE — Donald L. Elmore, 88, of Florence died Oct. 8, 2009, in Erlanger.

The Louisville native was a retired senior chief supply store keeper for the U.S. Navy and a World War II veteran. He was a past Master of the Good Faith Masonic Lodge, No. 915 F&AM, Fleet Reserve Branch 028 Association and Florence Baptist Temple. He was a son of the late Rev. Ezra Elmore and Sini Pearl Stevenson Elmore and the husband of the late Dorothy Peak Elmore.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel, with burial in Antioch General Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic services is at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge No. 355 F&AM.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Alan Elmore and his wife, Pat, of Vancouver, Wash., Michael Wayne Elmore of Florence and David Brian Elmore of Independence; two brothers, Richard Elmore and his wife, Osie, of Louisville and Jessie Elmore of Windyville; three grandchildren, Brian, Will and Rose Elmore; and a step-grandchild, Randy Gibson.
