MUNFORDVILLE — Jean B. Wilson, 69, of Munfordville died at 12:53 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green.

The Edmonson County native was a librarian and a second-grade teacher, having retired from the Edmonson County school system. She was a member of the Kentucky Education Association. She was a daughter of the late Almon A. Brooks and Mabel Kidwell Brooks. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Phil, Jerry and Terry Brooks.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hill Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Hill Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Sego Funeral Home and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold; two sons, David Wilson of Brownsville and Eric Wilson of Cub Run; three brothers, Eddie and Clyde Brooks, both of Mammoth Cave, and Charles Weldon Brooks of Bowling Green; three sisters, Nelsie Taylor, Barbara Wilson and Nina Childress, all of Mammoth Cave; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
