Black Velvet at Concerts in the Park

Published 12:00 am Monday, August 3, 2009

If you missed Black Velvet at Fountain Square Park it may be a while before you see them again. That’s because, unlike most local bands, they do not play bars. With a nice mix of R & B, oldies, and classic rock they kept the crowd hopping all evening on a nice cool summer night. Hits such as “Mustang Sally”, “In the Midnight Hour”, “Play That Funky Music”, and “Chain of Fools” had everyone going home happy. Check out their website at blackvelvetlivemusic.com, where you can listen to a demo and book them for your affair.
