The Warren County Public Library is pleased to have Vern Yip as our special guest on Thursday, August 20 at 6:00 p.m. 

“Vern Yip is the final speaker in our The World As I See It series,” says Library Director Lisa Rice. “His show Deserving Design showcases people who unselfishly do for others.  His contribution to the lives of these deserving individuals is commendable.”

Vern Yip is an interior designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He periodically appeared on TLC’s Trading Spaces through its fourth season. He is one of the panel of judges on HGTV’s Design Star. Currently, Yip hosts HGTV’s show Deserving Design.

In addition to his successful television career, Yip runs his own design company in Atlanta. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Virginia and a M.B.A. and Master of Architecture from The Georgia Institute of Technology, Vern has built a distinguished business utilizing his varied educational background.

Due to space limitations, the event will be held at the Kentucky Museum.  The event is free, but tickets are necessary for admission.  Free tickets are available at the Main Library at 1225 State Street and the Bob Kirby Branch at 175 Iron Skillet Court.  Event sponsors include WKYU, Liberty Printing, and the Kentucky Library and Museum.
