Far Off Broadway looking for actors, people to stage ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’

Far Off Broadway Players will have auditions for its upcoming play “Arsenic and Old Lace” from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Plaza Theatre in Glasgow.

Roles are available for 11 men of various ages, two older women and a younger woman. Scripts are available for check-out at Garmon and Goodman law office at 139 N. Public Square in Glasgow.

Those who are interested in behind-the-scenes work – such as stage manager, set designer, house manager, publicity director, construction technicians, props designer, lighting and sound designers and costume designer – can sign up during auditions.

Directed by Charley Goodman, the comedy tells the story of the eccentric Brewster family of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Show dates will be Oct. 16-18 at the Plaza Theatre.
