Murder of abortion doctor not an ‘eye for an eye’

Some might consider the murder of late-term abortion provider George Tiller an “eye for an eye.” But is it?
No, it’s a setback for all the Christians who peacefully and prayerfully protest the murder in these abortion clinics. I lift up my heartfelt prayers to Dr. Tiller’s family in the loss of their loved one.

I know there will be moral outrage from the pro-choice groups over this senseless murder, but where is that same outrage when daily thousands of children lose their lives in the abortion clinics all over the world?
As Christians, there are nonviolent and peaceful ways to protest against murder in our abortion clinics and to show the world that we practice what we preach. Love and forgiveness in His name.
First and foremost we should all begin with prayer Colossians 4:2, 1 Timothy 2:8.
- We should shed light on the evil darkness in this abortion issue by getting out the truth.
- We should look for ways to educate these women toward alternatives to abortion (adoption, abstinence, etc.).
- We should pray that the doctors, nurses and support staff would have a change of heart and find employment elsewhere.
- We should get involved in our local, state and national right to life organizations that practice peaceful and legal protest.
- Support your elected officials who support and vote for the pro life movement.
- Inform and educate the members of your local church how horrible abortion is.
- Find out where your local abortion clinic is and quietly and peacefully show up on the sidewalk and pray at least occasionally.
- Nurture a woman who is having a hard time dealing with a past abortion.
And finally, all religions should come together and be as one to oppose the murder of innocent children.
