A Russellville attorney was found dead Wednesday in her home.
Elizabeth Wilson, 51, was pronounced dead by the Logan County Coroner’s Office.
Wilson had been an attorney in Logan County for several years, working as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. She ran unsuccessfully against Gail Guiling in 2008 for Logan and Todd County Commonwealth’s Attorney.
Logan County Coroner Mary Givens said toxicology results were pending, but added that Wilson had a history of heart problems and was being seen by a cardiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and was wearing a heart monitor.
No foul play was suspected in Wilson’s death, Givens said.

McMurtry was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense), the result of an investigation begun when McMurtry was allegedly found to possess a user’s quantity of meth.
Warren was charged with cultivating marijuana, five or more plants and possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense). About 30 marijuana plants were allegedly found near his residence. McMurtry was jailed on a $5,000 bond and Warren was also jailed.
