Kevin Dismas Freeman, 45, of Bowling Green died at 6:20 p.m. May 9, 2009, at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky.
The Sacramento, Calif., native was a chef, a Christian and loved fishing. He was a son of the late David Freeman Sr. and Betty Renslow Freeman of Bowling Green, who survives.
Memorial service is at a later date. Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Other survivors include his wife, Shannon Jeffers Freeman; three brothers, David Freeman of Bowling Green and Tony Freeman and his wife, Vonda, and Steven Freeman, all of South Carolina; three sisters, Valerie Knepper of Pennsylvania, Lisa Curry of Florida and Jean Guthrie of South Carolina; three children, Stephanie, Jennifer and Tyler Freeman; three stepchildren, Mark Bacon, Jimmy “J.B.” Borders Jr. and Elizabeth Smith; four stepgrandchildren; two great-nieces; and several nieces and nephews.
