POLICE NEWS: Horse Branch woman killed in motorcycle accident Saturday

A motorcycle crash Saturday on Scottsville Road killed a Horse Branch woman.
Lenora K. Clark, 45, 832 Horse Branch Loop, Horse Branch, was traveling south on a motorcycle on Scottsville Road near South Park. According to a Bowling Green Police Department report, the motorcycle, driven by Tracy L. Colston, 40, 832 Horse Branch Loop, Horse Branch, swerved as if to change lanes at 12:43 p.m. Saturday.
Colston lost control of the motorcycle while attempting to brake to avoid hitting cars stopped in front of him, according to the report. The motorcycle overturned when it hit the median and both riders were thrown.
Clark was transported to Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport and airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where she was pronounced dead.
Colston was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center for treatment.
Officer Barry Pruitt, spokesman for the department, said both riders were wearing helmets. The accident is under investigation.
Arrest — Jacob Tate, 24, 3840 Banyon Road, Apt. D, was arrested Monday and charged with receiving stolen property over $300.
According to a city police arrest report, Tate allegedly sold a stolen 32-inch Phillips TV on Sunday for $280.
He was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. Monday and placed in Warren County Regional Jail with no bond set.
Burglary — Someone threw a concrete block through a glass side entrance door at Taylor’s Auto Sales, 1105 Broadway Ave., at about 1 a.m. Sunday, according to a city police report. No property was taken from the business. Damage totaled $300.
Burglary — Someone broke into a residence in the 2000 block of Huntsbend Road at about 2 p.m. Monday and stole two TVs and some cables, according to a Warren County Sheriff’s Office news release. Losses totaled $2,140.
Burglary, theft — Someone broke into Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 1125 U.S. 31-W By-Pass, between midnight and 12:15 a.m. Sunday and stole five keys belonging to various vehicles.
A window on the side of the building was shattered by a concrete block. Damage and losses totaled $700.
Burglary, theft — Someone broke into an apartment in the 300 block of River Tanmer Road and stole a TV and a large water jug filled with change at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a city police report.
A witness reported seeing a man coming out of the apartment carrying a DVD player.
The DVD player and two speakers were on the front porch when police arrived.
Screens were cut from three windows, the front bedroom window was pried and the glass on the back door was broken. Losses and damage totaled $2,000.
Fraud — A woman used a fraudulent ID and credit card to obtain a $4,210 cash advance from the Louisville Road branch of American Bank and Trust at about 3 p.m. Friday, according to a city police report. The woman was later seen attempting to obtain a cash advance from American Bank and Trust’s Scottsville Road branch using a different forged ID, but was unsuccessful and left the bank before police arrived.
Theft — Someone stole a 10-ton wagon from outside a house in the 400 block of W.E. Cole Road, according to a sheriff’s office news release. The vehicle had a Central Tractor sticker on it. Losses totaled $1,000.
