Jeremy Evans is a native of Crossett, Arkansas. He is a junior at Western Kentucky University where his major is Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Art. Jeremy began drawing at 5 years of age. Since then, his focus has been capturing the expressions of the human face. Never quite satisfied, Jeremy may spend hours perfecting one feature of a face. Although Jeremy enjoys painting murals and landscapes, getting a face just right brings him the most satisfaction. His favorite mediums are charcoal and oil pastels.

“Art is my passion,” says Evans. “But due to time constraints and my commitment as a player on Western Kentucky’s Men’s basketball team, I chose not to major in art, but my dream is to one day market my work to the public.”

Jeremy’s art will be exhibited in the Porter Café at the Main Library at 1225 State Street.
