Easter Buffet, Egg Hunts Set For State Parks Next Month

Kentucky State Parks will be serving their annual Easter Buffet on Sunday, April 12, and several parks are planning egg hunts for children.
All 17 Kentucky state resort park restaurants will be serving the buffet from noon until 8 p.m. The meal includes choice roast beef carved on line, baked Kentucky country ham, roast leg of spring lamb, golden fried catfish, garden vegetables and a variety of desserts.
The price for adults is $16.95, while children age 12 and under are $7.95 (prices include beverage).
Besides a restaurant, resort parks include lodging, gift shops, hiking trails and other recreational activities. Additional information is available at www.parks.ky.gov
These state parks are planning egg hunts for children in April:
Big Bone Lick State Park – April 11 at noon.
Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park – April 11 at 11 a.m.
Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park – April 12 at 2:30 p.m.
Carter Caves State Resort Park – April 12 at 2 p.m.
Cumberland Falls State Resort Park – April 12 at 2 p.m.
Fort Boonesborough State Park – April 2-5 (various times and days-for campers)
Fort Harrod State Park – April 4 at noon.
Greenbo Lake State Resort Park – April 12 at 1:30 p.m.
Jenny Wiley State Resort Park – April 11 at 2 p.m.
Lake Barkley State Resort Park – April 12 at 1 p.m.
