GLASGOW — Marietta Moore Furlong, 69, of Glasgow died Feb. 20, 2009, at her home.

The Barren County native was a devoted wife to her husband, William David Furlong, for 53 years before his death in March 2008. She was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late William Ottis Moore and Edna Smith Moore. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Sears Moore; and a sister-in-law, Bonita Moore.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Jeff Furlong and his wife, Sheila; two daughters, Carolyn Jackson and her husband, Kelly, and Lorie Hagan and her husband, Bobbie, all of Glasgow; a grandson, Aaron Wallace of Lexington and his fiancee, Holly Watkins; two stepgrandchildren, Dustin Hagan and Beth Sowers; three great-stepgrandchildren; five brothers, Allen Moore and his wife, Janice, Lonnie Moore, Darrell Moore and his wife, Patricia, Marty Moore and his wife, Gene, and Billy Joe Moore and his wife, Doris; three sisters, Linda Borders and her husband, Elvin, Sandra Morgan and her husband, Tommy, and Phyllis Doty and her husband, Eddie; two aunts, Mila Willis and Nell Mutter; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
