My Perfect Apathy: The Depth of Madness (2008)

Michael Sandefer of My Perfect Apathy released his debut CD The Depth of Madness this month.

“I would describe my sound as Jazz meets Lounge with an Electronica backbone. The smooth high’s and even smoother low’s of the music often compliment each other in the different dynamic of each song.” says Sanderfer.

Mike draws inspiration for his lyrics from other arts and interests and often pays homage to them, such as in the mobster movie inspired Mafia Man or Charlie Chaplin.

“I just take things I like, mixed with things I’m feeling and I do the best I can to create a catchy and bouncy feel.” he explained.

The album was tracked, recorded, mixed and mastered at BG Chophouse Studio by Head Engineer Ryan Adkins who has also worked with Martina McBride, Kid Rock, Earl Scruggs, Norah Jones and many others including over 1,000 bands on the independent scene.

Mike did the artwork for The Depth of Madness and he is currently finishing up his second album due out in 2010.
