Chris Ann Mitts, 52, of Bowling Green died at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 22, 2009, at Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky.
The Hannibal, Mo., native was born Aug. 17, 1956. She was in accounts payable at Hillvue Heights Church, where she was an active member. She was a faithful servant of Jesus who loved her husband, son and all people she encountered in life. She blessed all of us with a contagious laugh that encouraged us to celebrate the day. Every day was a worship day with Chris. She was a daughter of the late Ellis Hinch and Velma Kennedy Hinch of Hannibal, who survives.
A celebration of Chris’ life is at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hillvue Heights Church, with private burial at a later date. Friends may visit and celebrate with family after 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Faith Forward Building Fund at Hillvue Heights Church.
