POLICE NEWS: 3 BG residents indicted on various meth charges

Three Bowling Green residents were indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine.

Tiffany Marie Faine, 40, 464 Larmon Mill Road, Tanya R. Lindsey, 37, 152 Robin Road, and Robert Neal Gamblin, 27, 464 Larmon Mill Road, allegedly possessed with the intent to sell more than five grams of meth between Oct. 9 and Nov. 28 in Warren County, according to a report from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Louisville.

Both Faine and Lindsey have previous felony convictions for meth-related offenses, according to the report. Faine has at least four prior drug-related felony offenses in Warren Circuit Court.

If convicted Faine and Lindsey could receive life in prison, $4 million fines and supervised release for eight years. They face a possible mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, according to the report.

Gamblin, if convicted, could be sentenced to as much as 40 years in prison, a $2 million fine and supervised release for four years. Gamblin would also have a potential mandatory minimum sentence of five years.

The case was investigated by the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force.

Arrest — Richard Lee Whitlow, 33, 952 Bryant Way Apt. B, was charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (second offense) at 11:37 p.m. Wednesday at his home, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.

Codeine, marijuana and a pen with a white powdery substance were found in Whitlow’s residence, according to the report.

Whitlow is at the Warren County Regional Jail without bond.

Arrest — Jermaris J. Whiteside, 28, 1225 N. Lee St., was charged with second-degree burglary and possession of marijuana at 7:29 p.m. Thursday at the city police department at 911 Kentucky St., according to a city police report.

Whiteside’s cell phone was found at the scene of a burglary and he matched the description of one of the two suspects from the crime, according to the report. Marijuana was found in his coat pocket.

Whiteside is being held on $1,000 bond.

Arrest — Anthony Cash, 28, and Eric Weyrauch, 26, both of Glasgow, were charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief and receiving stolen property over $300 on Wednesday.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the theft of about $30,000 in stolen goods from Lecta-Kino Road, according to a sheriff’s office report.

Cash and Weyrauch were seen by a property owner selling stolen items at a local recycling company, according to the report. Many stolen items were recovered including tools, tires, aluminum wheels, alternators, furniture, a trailer and other items.

Both men are at the Barren County Correction Center on $10,000 bond.

Burglary — A television valued at $300 was stolen between Jan. 2 and Monday from a residence in the 1300 block of Center Street, according to a city police report.

Fraud — There were $1,266.62 in fraudulent online purchases made using a Bowling Green woman’s credit card between Monday and Wednesday, according to a city police report. The victim canceled the card and does not know how someone could have gotten the card number. The victim also believes someone is trying to open other accounts in her name.

Indictment — Michelle Simmons, 34, 215 Temple Hill Road, Glasgow, was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on one count of wire fraud.

The indictment alleges that between July 22, 2004, and Jan. 14, 2008, Simmons embezzled about $217,549 from her employer, Blealand Campbellsville Inc.

If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and supervised release for three years, according to the report. The case was investigated by the United States Secret Service.

Theft — A video camera valued at $450 was stolen between noon and 9 p.m. Tuesday from a vehicle in the 2900 block of Scottsville Road, according to a city police report. A window of the vehicle was broken, causing $198 in damage.

Theft — A black 2008 Toyota Tundra valued at $27,264 was stolen between Dec. 29 and Monday from Gary Force Toyota at 1860 Campbell Lane, according to a city police report. The dealership became aware the truck was missing when it was found in a field in Mississippi with heavy damage.

Theft — A catalytic converter valued at $1,831 was sawed off a vehicle between 7 p.m. Dec. 28 and 8 a.m. Dec. 29 at Gary Force Toyota at 1860 Campbell Lane, according to a city police report.
