How did the business get started? Our business was started to provide hairstylists a fun place to work and an opportunity to develop lasting relationships with the community.

What is your background? Marissa and Debbie have both been in the hair industry for more than 14 years. They trained in many cities, such as New York and Chicago, and are continuously trained on product knowledge.

What are your biggest challenges as a business? Our biggest challenge so far has been to find a balance between ownership and friendship with our employees.

What’s your business philosophy? To provide professional services in a welcoming atmosphere that suits the personal needs of each friend that comes through our door.

What issues are affecting your industry? We are aware of the uncertain economy, and its effects on each family and friend. We provide quality service at a competitive price.

What are the factors that make your business successful? A warm, friendly environment – customers come first. We truly build relationships with clients, who are key to our successes.

How do you handle competition? We don’t try to compete. We are a part of the community and continuously provide quality services for all who enter our door.

What is your advice to someone thinking about opening a business? We think that when working with a partner, it takes a special relationship with give and take. It requires a tremendous amount of hard work and putting what’s best for the business first. Because of our teamwork, we are successful.
