Danny and Peggy Mitchell of Scottsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Brooke Mitchell, to Thomas Harwell Ozburn, son of Cay Ozburn and the late Anne Ozburn of Chattanooga, Tenn.

Miss Mitchell is a graduate of Allen County- Scottsville High School and Western Kentucky University, where she majored in broadcasting. She is a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She is currently employed by WKRN-TV in Nashville as a general assignment reporter.

Mr. Ozburn is a graduate of the Baylor School in Chattanooga, the University of Alabama and the University of Memphis and holds a master’s degree in health administration and an MBA in finance. Tom is employed by HCA as the chief executive officer of Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be Dec. 19 at the historic Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville. Invitations have been sent.

The couple will reside in Nashville.
