The wedding of Ashley Diane Watt and Wesley David Jackson was performed by Gerald Watt on June 14, 2008, at Fountain Square Park in Bowling Green.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watt of Bowling Green and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jackson of Bowling Green.

The bride wore a unique white strapless gown made of French taffeta. The sweetheart neckline included small pearls and beading and the pick-up skirt was embellished with diamond-shaped pearl accents. The back featured a lace-up corset. The bride carried a bouquet of red mini calla lilies and red roses with fragrant white freesia and soft green viburnum that was hand tied with netting from her mother’s veil.

Miranda Harriman, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Friends of the bride Krista George, Terri Houchen and Melea Lowe were all bridesmaids. Matt Jackson, brother of the groom, was best man. Friends of the groom Martin Lowe, Jason Duckett and Robbie Taylor were all groomsmen. Sophie Cox, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl and Riley Lowe was ring bearer. Gavin Matthews was bell ringer and cousin of the bride Taylor Watt greeted the guests.

There was a reception afterward at Knights of Columbus. After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Bowling Green.
