The wedding of Amanda Michelle Raabe and Zachary Dunbar Pearl was performed by the Rev. Catherine Leary at 7 p.m. June 21, 2008, at the home of the bride’s parents in Scottsville.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Karen Raabe of Scottsville. Maternal grandparents are Donald and Gloria Kapka of Tyler, Texas. Paternal grandparents are Herbert Raabe and the late Virginia Raabe of Jasper, Texas.

The groom is the son of Nigel Norris and Jane Pearl Norris of Gloucestershire, England, and Michael and Gaye Pearl of Bowling Green. Maternal grandparents are James and Betty Coles of Bowling Green. Paternal grandparents are Larry and Jean Pearl of Bowling Green.
The bride, given in marriage by both her mother and father, wore a strapless mermaid gown of ivory English net and lace and a custom veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white peonies, lisianthus, roses, Queen Anne’s lace, stock, Bells of Ireland and blackberries.
Dehon Collier, aunt of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Pearl Reynolds, sister of the groom, Erin Cook Raabe, sister-in-law of the bride, and Kelly Barnes, friend of the bride. Rebecca Pearl, sister of the groom, was an honorary bridesmaid. The flower girl was Emma Collier, cousin of the bride.
Mitchell Schott, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Boaz Reynolds, brother-in-law of the groom, Brady Trosper, friend of the groom, and Brian Raabe, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Bianca Dickens, Shelley Harmer, Sarah Beth Salmon, Dean Collier, Chris Harmer, Justin Proffitt and Jeremy Pryor.
Music was provided by Delnora Reed and Jayron Weaver of Blue-Eyed Grass.

Dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, with entertainment from Ernie Smalls Blues Band. Family members Jane Pearl, Rachel Pearl and Dean Collier also performed.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Midway College with a bachelor of science degree in biology and is employed by The Columbus Serum Company of Columbus, Ohio. The groom is a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a joint bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is employed by Buckman Jet Drilling in Bowling Green.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple now resides in Bowling Green.
