GLASGOW — Ruby Mae “Me-Maw” Veach Vincent, 85, of Fountain Run, formerly of Louisville, died Oct. 9, 2008, at her residence.

The Monroe County native was born Feb. 12, 1923. She was retired from Joseph E. Seagrams and Sons and was a beautician and volunteer for Helping Hands whenever she was needed. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and of O.E.S. Liberty Chapter No. 165 in Louisville. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the loving and devoted daughter of the late William Alpha and Virgie Kirby Veach and the loving and devoted wife of the late Herschel Vincent. She was preceded in death by a brother and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Union No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Ann Warwick and her husband, Robert “Bob,” of Bowling Green; a grandson, Robert “Bobby” Vincent Warwick and his wife, Penny, of Woodburn; a granddaughter, Andrea Dawn Hales and her husband, Brad, of Bowling Green; two great-granddaughters, Savannah Jo Warwick and Alexis Ann Hales; a great-grandson, Benjamin Matthew Warwick; a brother, William Argel Veach and his wife, Elaine, of Horse Cave; a sister, Leatrice Gibson of West Point; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
