A Bowling Green man was indicted Wednesday for allegedly sodomizing a child over several years.

Harry Lawrence Morris Jr., 36, 7792 Russellville Road, is charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy, one count of second-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sodomy.

There was one victim, said Chris Cohron, commonwealth’s attorney for Warren County, and the abuse occurred over a long period of years. The indictment cites the abuse having occurred between July 1994 and July 2001, when the child was between 8 and 16 years old.

The Bowling Green Police Department and Detective Jamie Luttrell have been investigating this case for a long time, Cohron said.

Morris is in custody at the Warren County Regional Jail. He is being held on $25,000 bond and, if released, cannot have contact with the alleged victim.

Dalton Morrow, 29, 558 Park Hills St., possession of handgun by a convicted felon, menacing, disorderly conduct, second-degree persistent felony offender, $5,000 bond.

Jeffrey Dwayne Yates, 41, 2932 Blue Level-Providence Road, Rockfield, first-degree bail jumping, first-degree persistent felony offender, $50,000 bond.

Jessica Barber, 21, 575 Sweeney Lane, second-degree assault, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, $10,000 surety bond.

Tabitha Michelle Churchwell, 27, 1718 Oshea Apt. B, second-degree criminal abuse, $5,000 bond.

Paul Browder, 29, 349 Kenlee Circle No. 1, second-degree assault, transfer bond.
