Carlos Johnson of Bowling Green paints a mural Tuesday afternoon on the side of Hip Hop Fashions on U.S. 31-W By-Pass at Cabell Drive.

Johnson, who paints freehand, was making a hip hop mural of the Bowling Green and Western Kentucky University urban landscapes.

Johnson said he paints on just about anything. “I paint on cars, T-shirts and even underwear,” he said, laughing.

The mural should be completed later this week.
