• Oakland Mount Zion Baptist Church will have vacation Bible school from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through June 13. To close the week, all participants are invited to a picnic and swimming at Russell Sims Aquatic Park on June 14. • Bowling Green Christian Church will have a Wednesday night series entitled “The Not-So-Late Show with Rick O’Shay.” A meal will be at 5:30 p.m. in the church commons.
