BURKESVILLE — Oleta Poindexter Norris, 80, of Bowling Green, died May 29, 2008, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Cumberland County native was a former partner at Norris-New Funeral Home and WKYR Radio in Burkesville.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Norris-New Funeral Home, with graveside service at 2 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday until time for services Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Marleen Murphy and her husband, Gary, of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Brandon Russell Murphy and Bronson Norris Murphy of Bowling Green; and a brother, Howard Poindexter of Bowling Green.
