James L. Keltner

James Lloyd Keltner, 60, of Bowling Green died at 11:26 a.m. April 4, 2008, at The Medical Center.

The Dayton, Ohio, native was an X-ray technician at the Bowling Green Medical Center for 35 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Adair County High School and a 1972 graduate of Madison College of Radiology in Madison, Tenn. He enjoyed golf and family activities and was of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War veteran in the medical field from 1966 to 1969. He was a son of the late Lloyd George Keltner and Glenna Nadine Schultz Keltner of Columbia, who survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Keltner; and two sisters, Sheila Jannette Keltner and Patricia Ann Keltner.

A memorial service is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at a private burial place. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.

Other survivors include a daughter, Allyson Nicole Keltner and her mother, Linda Keown, both of Bowling Green; three brothers, Kenneth Keltner and his wife, Elaine, of Carmel, Ind., Bobby Keltner of Columbia and Kieth Dee Keltner and his wife, Alice, of Questa, N.M.; three sisters, Rosemary Collins of Bardstown, Penny Rael of Questa and Nancy Mirkhani of Red Wood City, Calif.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and the loving extended family of The Medical Center of Bowling Green.
