Water company didn’t inform us on outage

This is to inform you that I am very unhappy with the Warren County Water Company.

They planned a water outage in my area (Sylvan Circle) for Feb. 14 at 9:30 a.m. until noon and did not inform anyone. I think that they should have been concerned enough to inform the public and taken some steps to make sure that the people living or working in the affected area were informed.

If the affected area was small, less than 20 households, they could have put fliers in each household’s mailbox, used an automated telephone message to residents plus made a press release for the media.

A larger affected area surely should have been highlighted for media notification.

My ability to live without water pressure for three and a half hours is not my reason for informing you but the fact that a service company for Warren County would not consider their time and effort to inform their customer of a problem that important.
