Mike Dow

SCOTTSVILLE — Mike Dow, 50, of Scottsville died at 2 a.m. Feb. 6, 2008, of injuries suffered in a tornado.

The Westdale, N.Y., native was an employee of Harley-Davidson of Bowling Green. He was a son of the late Gerald William Dow and Elizabeth Mae Rasmussen Dow Rehborg of Mesa, Ariz., who survives, and the husband of the late Phyllis Joy Moore Dow, who died in the same tragedy.

Joint funeral service for Mike and Joy was Saturday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Other survivors include two sons, Brandon Dow and Justin Dow, both of Mena, Ark.; two sisters, Melinda Jurgensen and her husband, Dale, of Lake Park, Iowa, and Deborah East and her husband, Robert, of Mesa; five nephews, Andrew Reiter of Mesa, Henry Reiter and John Reiter, both of Little Rock, Ark., Joshua Jurgensen of Lake Park and Jeremy Jurgensen of Spirit Lake, Iowa; and a niece, Danielle Baker of Yuma, Ariz.
