HARLAN — Patsy L. Angel Ball, 69, of New Tazewell, Tenn., died at 3:12 p.m. EDT Jan. 16, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn.

She was born Dec. 26, 1938. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Loyall. She was a daughter of the late William T. Angel Sr. and Beatrice Lawson Angel. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Dewayne Hensley Ball.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Rosspoint. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT Friday at the funeral home. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of local arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Dan B. Ball Sr.; a daughter, Terrie Lynn Ward and her husband, Tim, of Rockfield; three sons, Dan B. Ball Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Irvine and Billy Ball and his wife, Frankie, and James Michael Ball, all of New Tazewell; five sisters, Genevieve Short and her husband, James Robert, of Deltona, Fla., Sue Dohering and her husband, Kevin, of Forsythe, Ga., and Judy Rhump, Lillie Angel and Debbie Angel, all of Warren, Mich.; three brothers, Charles Marino of Saginaw, Mich., Larry Marino of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and William T. Angel Jr. of Warren; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
