HORSE CAVE — William Franklin “Buddy” Levi, 78, of Indianapolis died at 10:20 a.m. Jan. 4, 2008, at his home.
The Scottsville native was a retired mechanist for the Hamblem Gage Co. and a Korean War veteran, having received The National Defense Service Medal and The United Nations Service Medal. He was a son of the late Herbert Levi and Ruth Cox Levi.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Bethlehem Missionary Church Cemetery at Scottsville. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his caregiver and longtime friend, Lois Yovanovich of Indianapolis; three nieces, Linda Melloan and her husband, Kenneth, of Horse Cave, Teresa Potter of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Jenny Marble of Woodburn; three nephews, Billy Walker of Adairville, Danny Walker of Glasgow and Gary Simpson of Woodburn; and a brother-in-law, Oscar Simpson Jr. of Woodburn.
