Martina E. Lilly, 85, of Bowling Green died at 9:10 p.m. Dec. 27, 2007, at Greenview Regional Hospital.

The Temple Hill native sold Avon for many years and worked at Ben Synder’s Department Store. She was a secretary for a Glasgow attorney and worked at a downtown Bowling Green church. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she met her future husband of 59 years, Roy A. Lilly, now deceased. A member of First Baptist Church, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lowrey and Verda Marshall Lowrey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Marshall Lowrey; and a sister, Louise Lowrey.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Craig Lilly of Bowling Green; a half sister, Charlene Sauer and her husband, George, of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
