James B. Taylor, 100, dies in Glasgow

James Beachel Taylor, 100, of Glasgow died Dec. 20, 2007, at a Glasgow nursing home.

The Barren County native was born Dec. 30, 1906. He was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Rufus Isaac Taylor and Correnna Taylor and the husband of the late Gola Mae Pickett Taylor. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Sunday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two brothers, Watson Taylor and Leo Taylor, both of Montana; and several nieces and nephews.
