Jung W. Kim, 91, of Franklin died at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 11, 2007, at The Medical Center.

The Gwak-Saan, Korea, native was born Feb. 28, 1916. She was a housewife, a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Christian and was active in Christian ministries. She was a daughter of the late Gwan-Haak Kim and Hyung-Pill Choe and the wife of the late Doh-Sung Choe.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

Survivors include a daughter, Soh-Young Meeks and her husband, Joe, of Franklin; two sons, Kyung-Yong Choe and Kyung-Tae Choe, both of Seoul, Korea; seven grandchildren, Laura Hudson, Joe Meeks III, Hae-Ryung Gwon, Yoon-Suk Choe, Soo-Im Choe, Sung-Jin Choe and Hae-Jin Choe; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in North Korea.
