Ruford M. Gardner

MUNFORDVILLE — Ruford Merritt Gardner, 75, of Munfordville died at 9:10 a.m. Nov. 21, 2007, at a Hart County nursing home.

He was a retired employee of Louisville Bedding Co. in Munfordville and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a son of the late Oscar and Ida Webb Gardner. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Buford, Joe and Woodrow Gardner; and three sisters, Ollie Aubrey, Dema Heath and Maudie Gardner.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sego Funeral Home, with burial in Harper Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Gardner of Munfordville and Jeff Gardner of Michigan; a daughter, Melissa Gardner of Louisville; and a sister, Nora Charbonneau of Washington.
