Black Stone Cherry and the Kentucky Headhunters will be featured at two all ages shows in the Cave City Convention Center on November 24 and 25th.

Originally scheduled as a Saturday night performance, when the show sold out the Sunday 4pm date was added. Tickets are $15 each or $10 with a new toy. Tickets can be purchased at the Cave City Convention Center (270-773-3131), Sunshyn Dazys in Edmonton (270-432-7867) or George J’s in Glasgow (270-651-2161).

The Kentucky Headhunters (http://kentuckyheadhunters.com or http://www.myspace.com/thekentuckyheadhunters) have sold more than 6 million albums and their most recent release, Flying Under The Radar is now available on http://amazon.com. The group hailing from Metcalfe county also boasts a Grammy for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group”, Vocal Group of the Year (twice) by the County Music Association and the Academy of Country Music’s “Top New Vocal Duo or Group”.

Black Stone Cherry (http://blackstonecherry.com or http://www.myspace.com/blackstonecherry) joins the Headhunters in giving back to their community after recently returning from recording a live show at the Astoria In London. The young band won the UK’s Classic Rock Magazine’s award for “Best New Rock Band” and warmed up for Aerosmith.

Their debut album has been featured as one fo the Top 100 albums of the 21st century and the band is out to make even bigger waves with their next project. They have returned to Kentucky to work on new material and begin their next recording project.

Glasgow’s 103.7 The Point is the main sponsor for this event. Money raised at the Cave City concerts goes to support the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. The mission of program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
