Cash Tree, 1411 Scottsville Road, was broken into Thursday or Friday by someone smashing in a window and breaking a door, according to a Bowling Green Police Department report.

Once inside, the person opened a filing cabinet and took $4,786 in cash. Police were able to lift fingerprints from the office that sustained $300 in damage.

Burglary — A home in the 600 block of Kirtley Way was broken into Wednesday or Thursday, according to a city police report.

The front door sustained about $100 in damage. CDs and a watch, valued at $325, and $60 in cash were taken.
