Gander Mountain’s grand opening concert with John Michael Montgomery on Saturday now will be open to all.

Store management was planning to hand out free tickets this week as a way to control traffic, but has since decided differently, according to assistant manager James Lee.

“We don’t want to turn anyone away,” Lee said.

Gates for the 9:30 p.m. concert will open at 5:30 p.m. Darren Warren, Brook Marton and the Orange County Choppers will open the evening for Montgomery beginning a 6:30 p.m.

Parking will be in the ABC Auto Auctions gravel parking lot near the store and overflow will be on Western Kentucky University’s South Campus.

“We will shuttle people from there,” Lee said.

Shoppers who don’t want to attend the concert will still be able to park in the store’s regular lot.

No coolers or pets will be allowed for the rain or shine concert but people can bring their own chairs or buy them on site. Drinks and food will be sold.
