Virginia M. Dilley

HORSE CAVE — Virginia M. Dilley, 86, of Munfordville died at 12:45 p.m. Oct. 1, 2007, at a Glasgow nursing home.

The Hart County native was a member of Center Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Albert Walton and Mary Houk Walton and the wife of the late Raymond Dilley. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Ethel Douglas, Ruby Twyman, Naomi Stiltz, Ovie Walton, Lebus Walton, Birdie Lile, Jimmy Walton and Hubert Walton.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Houk Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation is from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Sneed and her husband, David, of Munfordville; three granddaughters, Jennifer Bratcher of Cave City and Nicole Atwell and her husband, Jeremy, and Mariah Grubbs, all of Munfordville; a grandson, Buddy Vancil of Bowling Green; two great-grandsons, Chase Atwell and Austin Emmert; and several nieces and nephews.
