CAVE CITY – Carolyn Hatcher, 74, of Cave City died Sept. 20, 2007, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Hart County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Bluford Logsdon and Gracie Sturgeon Logsdon. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Bill Logsdon, Lonard Logsdon, Harmon Lee Logsdon, Veloria Martin and Caroll Logsdon.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Merrold Hatcher; a son, Johnny Hatcher and his wife, Laura, of Horse Cave; two daughters, Linda Buckingham of Cave City and Kim Smith and her husband, Donnie, of Hardyville; six grandchildren, Michele Smith and her husband, Greg, De’Lynn Buckingham and his wife, Sheila, Mandy Rexroat and her husband, Boyd, Bruce Hatcher, Adam Smith and Ashley Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Chasity Shipely and her husband, Wess, Nicholas Smith, KaChelly Smith, Amber Proffitt and her husband, Darrick, Lindsey Buckingham, Kati Buckingham, Whitney Clay, Ransom Buckingham and Clark Rexroat; a great-great grandchild, Madygan Proffitt; and five siblings, Dorene Cooper and Edith Hogan, both of Cave City, Margie Laird of Glasgow, Alvine Ritter of Lavernia, Texas, and Junior Logsdon of Davenport, Iowa.
