Daniel Pike is the sports editor of the Daily News.

Pike, a native of Glasgow, comes to Bowling Green from The State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill., where he spent nearly three years as a news and features reporter.

Pike is also former sports editor of the Glasgow Daily Times and a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He married his wife, Amy, in January 2005.
