Rebecca Frances Smith-Whitlow, 25, of Bowling Green died at 10:40 p.m. Aug. 21, 2007, at Greenview Regional Hospital.
The Paducah native was born April 27, 1982. She was a receptionist for Testing & Careers of Bowling Green and a member of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church. She was a daughter of Michael C. Smith and Linda Bell Smith of Bowling Green, who survive. She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, William E. and Iona Bell; maternal great-grandparents, Roy and Bertie Burkhart; paternal great-grandparents, Hugh and Frances Smith; and her mother-in-law, Joanna A. Whitlow.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with graveside service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Other survivors include her husband, Michael Whitlow of Fort Campbell Army Post; her father-in-law, Michael Gene Whitlow of Bowling Green; maternal grandparents, Leland and Ruth Bell of Grahamville; paternal grandparents, James and Sarah Smith of Earlington; two sisters, Amy Meece and her husband, Greg, of Somerset and Alison Sevic and her husband, David, of Wingo; a brother, Bryan Smith and his wife, Shelly, of Glasgow; two uncles and two aunts, Charles Bell and his wife, Janice, of Ennis, Texas, and Dr. Kevin Smith and his wife, Ruth, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; three nephews, Adrien, Chase and Ian; and two nieces, Eden and Haley.
