Who wants to be a rock star? Guitar Hero is back with even more surprises than the last version. If you have played the PS2 version and think you are all that and a bag of chips, then you have to check Guitar Hero II out.
Let’s see if you can still hang with the big dogs. Here are some new features that you will see while playing the new series; ten new songs, the explorer control, downloadable songs & pictures, and leader boards that separates the rock bands from the sock bands. This new version has better graphics and faster response time. Playing songs like free bird and trying to hit those riffs can be quit the challenge. There is just something about sitting on your couch playing your guitar and practicing for your next big gig, that just makes me feel like I am gonna be a rock star! Another component that makes this game stand out from the rest of the pack is the fact that the audio quality on the 360 is superior compared to that of the PS2. The only thing they could have added is online multiplayer mode. They could have put together band versus band online; now that would have been sweet.
Guitar Hero II gets a well deserved A+
