SCOTTSVILLE – Harvey Eugene Miller, 59, of Scottsville died at 3:47 p.m. June 26, 2007, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The St. Louis native was a retired employee of General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant and a member of United Auto Workers Local 2164. He was a son of the late Harvey Ules Miller and Pauline Lilly Pennington Miller.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, June Miller; a son, Billy Miller of Scottsville; a daughter, Shelley Jo Miller Jent of Scottsville; two sisters, Wanda Arbuckle of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Sharon Dover of Eufala, Okla.; his mother-in-law, Thelma Dockery of Granite City, Ill.; three brothers-in-law, Vernon Dockery and his wife, Pat, of Scottsville, and Lindell Dockery and his wife, Kay, and Mike Dockery and his wife, Nancy, all of Granite City; seven sisters-in-law, Shirley Burgess and her husband, Tom, Judy Dockery, Connie Collins and her husband, Barry, Debbie Smiddy and her husband, Greg, Juanita Ryan and her husband, David, and Kathy Worthen and her husband, Wayne, all of Granite City, and Brenda Hayes and her husband, Merl, of Moscow Mills, Mo.; three grandchildren, Zachary Ron Jent, Jessie Eugene Jent and Leah Jo Jent; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
