HORSE CAVE – Marjorie Scott Aldridge of Horse Cave died at 6:55 a.m. May 21, 2007, at Caverna Memorial Hospital.

The Center native was a retired school teacher in Alabama and California, a former employee of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Lucian Scott and Alice Thompson Scott and the wife of the late Walter Aldridge. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Scott.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Center Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Bradford of Horse Cave; five nephews, Bob Bradford Jr. of Montgomery, Ala., Scott Bradford of Glasgow, Pat Bradford of Huntsville, Ala., Russell Bradford of Athens, Ala., and Mike Scott of Richmond, Ind.; and two nieces, Karen Brown of Weleska, Ga., and Beverly Grubb of Terre Haute, Ind.
