Jennifer L. Nickel, 37, of Bowling Green died at 2:35 p.m. April 22, 2007, at The Medical Center.
The Wilmington, Del., native worked for the Warren County Schools, was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington. Mrs. Nickel passed after a short, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a daughter of Lawrence J. Boyd and Eleanor “Dolly” Russell Boyd of Wilmington, who survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence J. Boyd Jr.; and her father-in-law, Paul P. Nickel.
Funeral Mass is in Wilmington, with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery in Wilmington. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel. Prayer service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include her husband of 14 1/2 years, Kenneth Nickel; three sons, Dakota, Dylan and Tyler Nickel, all of Bowling Green; a brother, William J. Boyd of Wilmington; a sister, Connie L. Millar and her husband, John, of Claymont, Del.; her mother-in-law, Linda Nickel Goode of Wilmington; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
