Scott Gaines

Scott Gaines is the credit manager for the Daily News. He began working in the advertising department in 1997, and became credit manager in 1999. He currently oversees collection of delinquent bills and the pay-by-mail program as well as in-house promotions.

Scott, a Bowling Green native, graduated from Bowling Green High School. He graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 1996 with a degree in public relations. He is a 2000 graduate of the Leadership Bowling Green program.

He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing. Scott is a member of Quail Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He also owns and operates several residential and commercial properties in the Bowing Green area.
