Thelma Rose Ternes

HENDERSON – Thelma Rose Ternes, 89, of Henderson died at 4:15 a.m. Feb. 21, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Ternes Sr., in 1995.

Funeral services were held Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph E. Ternes Jr. and his wife, Nan, of Henderson and James K. Ternes and his wife, Grace, of Alvaton; a sister, Margaret Luckett of Henderson; two brothers, Robert Burns of Henderson and Warren Burns of El Paso, Texas; three grandchildren, Lisa Kirkham, Stephanie Leynes and Kevin Ternes; and nieces and nephews.
