A Bowling Green man, indicted Jan. 10 for connection with the robbery of one check-cashing business, was indicted Wednesday on two additional counts of robbery.

Jerry Tyrone Anderson, 28, 1612 Westen Ave. Apt. 87, was indicted Wednesday on two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of being a second-degree persistent felony offender.

He is accused of robbing Cash Etc. at 850 U.S. 31-W By-Pass on Nov. 10 and Kentucky Cash at 1106 Lovers Lane on Nov. 20. In both instances, Anderson is accused of using a handgun during the robbery to force the store clerk to hand over money, according to Bowling Green Police Department reports.

He was previously convicted of armed robbery in Georgia on March 7, 1997, according to the indictment.

Anderson’s bond was set at $25,000. He has a $50,000 bond for his previous charges and remains in custody at the Warren County Regional Jail.
