MUNFORDVILLE – Edna Lee Johnson, 69, of Munfordville died at 1:20 p.m. Nov. 15, 2006, at a Hart County nursing home.

The Barren County native was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Robert Garnett and Vanda Richardson Ellis and the wife of the late Frank Johnson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe B. Ellis.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bearwallow Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Bearwallow Cemetery in Horse Cave. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Brooks Funeral Home and begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include four sisters, Linda and Mary Ellis, both of Indianapolis, Shirley Faye Rice of Saginaw, Mich., and Patricia A. Jones of Jeffersonville, Ind.; six brothers, Charles Ellis of Munfordville, Willie and Henry Ellis, both of Louisville, Earl Ellis of Indianapolis, Cecil Ellis of Sturgis and Robert Ellis of Detroit; a stepfather, J.B. Ellis of Horse Cave; and several nieces and nephews.
