€Faith United Methodist Church’s annual Fish Fry and Auction is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-8 for all-you-can-eat fish. €Southside Church of Christ has started construction on its new building on a five-acre tract at 4600 Plano Road, 41/2 miles off Scottsville Road. The church continues to meet at the present location on Cemetery Road and Lovers Lane until the first of the year, when the new building will be completed.

€Much More Ministries, an interdenominational ministry under the direction of Brenda Stuart, meets at 4 p.m. the last Saturday of each month.
