€Barber Way General Baptist Church Ladies Aid Prayer Group is having a yard sale and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Flea Land, 1100 Three Springs Road. Yard sale items include clothing, toys, baby items, dishes and miscellaneous items. Bake sale items include cakes, pies, sweet breads, muffins and candy.

€Faith United Methodist Church’s annual Fish Fry and Auction is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 4. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-8 for all-you-can-eat fish. €Southside Church of Christ has started construction on its new building on a 5-acre tract at 4600 Plano Road, 4 1/2 miles off Scottsville Road. The church is continuing to meet at the present location on Cemetery Road and Lovers Lane until the first of the year, when the new building will be completed.

€Bowling Green Christian Church is celebrating its recent growth by adding a third service to its Sunday worship on Sunday.
